Broncos Add Zach Triner as Long Snapper Amid Fraboni's Recovery

The Denver Broncos have signed veteran long snapper Zach Triner to a one-year contract, providing depth at the position during the offseason. This move comes after the team re-signed Mitchell Fraboni to a three-year, $4.175 million deal earlier this year. Fraboni, who has been with the Broncos since 2022, is currently recovering from a minor back procedure and is expected to return for training camp. 

Triner, 34, brings six seasons of NFL experience to the Broncos. He was the primary long snapper for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2019 to 2024, including their Super Bowl LV victory. In 2024, he appeared in six games for the Buccaneers before being released. Triner also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, participating in three games last season. 

The Broncos' decision to sign Triner ensures they have a reliable option for the offseason program while Fraboni recovers. Triner's extensive experience and familiarity with NFL special teams will be valuable assets as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

As Fraboni continues his rehabilitation, the Broncos will monitor his progress to ensure he is fully ready for training camp. The addition of Triner provides the team with stability at the long snapper position during this period.
