​The Denver Broncos have significantly bolstered their roster during the 2025 offseason, making strategic additions aimed at enhancing both their offense and defense. General Manager George Paton and Head Coach Sean Payton have been instrumental in these moves, focusing on players who embody the team's desired culture and competitiveness.​

Defensive Reinforcements: Dre Greenlaw and Talanoa Hufanga

The Broncos' defense has received a substantial upgrade with the signings of linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga, both formerly of the San Francisco 49ers. Greenlaw, known for his physicality and playmaking abilities, has consistently been a standout performer since entering the league. Hufanga, despite dealing with injuries in recent seasons, has shown significant potential when healthy. Defensive tackle D.J. Jones, who has shared the field with both players, expressed enthusiasm about their arrival, stating, "What we're getting is people that know ball, play ball at a high level and all they want to do is ball." Both Greenlaw and Hufanga are expected to seamlessly integrate into Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph's scheme, providing high-upside options where the Broncos sought improvements.
