Browns Look to Rebound After Disastrous 2024 Season
Share
After a promising 11-win playoff run in 2023, the Cleveland Browns unraveled in 2024, finishing a dismal 3-14. Quarterback instability plagued the season, with Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Bailey Zappe all making starts. Watson’s torn Achilles in Week 7 ended his season early, and a re-tear in January required a second surgery. His return remains uncertain, and he may miss the entire 2025 campaign.
Despite the struggles, the Browns are set up to rebuild with multiple picks, including the No. 5 overall pick (acquired from Jacksonville) — their first first-round selection since 2021 and highest since drafting Baker Mayfield No. 1 in 2018.
