Tyreek Hill Under NFL Investigation After Domestic Incident at Miami Condo

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is once again under scrutiny following a domestic incident at his Sunny Isles Beach condominium on April 7, 2025. The altercation involved Hill and his wife, Keeta Hill, and was serious enough to prompt Keeta's mother, Alesia Vaccaro, to call 911. According to reports, Vaccaro expressed concern over Hill's aggressive behavior, stating he had anger issues and had thrown a laptop during the dispute.
A video obtained by Local 10 News shows Hill holding their infant daughter on a 35th-floor balcony during the argument. Police responded to the scene, noting that while the baby appeared unharmed, Keeta had a bruise on her chest. Both Tyreek and Keeta confirmed the argument did not become physical. Keeta filed for divorce the following day.
The NFL has requested the audio of the 911 call as part of its investigation into the incident. Under the league's Personal Conduct Policy, disciplinary action can be taken regardless of criminal charges. However, the NFL's ability to compel cooperation from non-league individuals is limited, potentially hindering the investigation.
This incident adds to a series of off-field controversies involving Hill, including a previous detainment by police for reckless driving and past allegations of domestic violence. His behavior has led to speculation about his future with the Dolphins, especially considering his significant contract and the team's recent performance struggles.
Despite the controversies, Hill remains a key player for the Dolphins. Head coach Mike McDaniel has stated that the team does not plan to trade him, although trade rumors persist, fueled by Hill's cryptic social media posts and the team's financial considerations.
As the NFL continues its investigation, the Dolphins face the challenge of balancing Hill's on-field contributions with the potential distractions and reputational risks posed by his off-field issues.
